Description
Located on a 21-acre site on Flint River Road, the Flint River Community Center is a collaborative project between the Department of Senior Services and Parks and Recreation. Providing recreation and activities for multiple generations, the center features game rooms, exercise rooms, a multipurpose gym, and an outdoor splash pad. The center showcases, for the first time in Clayton County, a "Black Box Theater" designed for live performances with flexible staging and seating.
May 2023: The site stormwater enhancement design is complete and an invitation to bid is pending for construction services.
