Widening and Reconstruction of Battle Creek Road / Mt. Zion Boulevard

This project includes the widening of Battle Creek Road and Mt. Zion Boulevard starting at Southlake Parkway and continuing to the Somerton Drive intersection. The project widens Battle Creek Road and Mt. Zion Boulevard from the existing two-lane facility to four lanes with a 20-foot wide raised median and urban shoulders including curb and gutter, a 2-foot-wide grass strip, and 5-foot-wide sidewalks. This project is in conjunction with the widening and reconstruction of the Battle Creek Road project.

Update:  As clearing continues east to Spring Place, erosion control measures are being installed.
