Panhandle Road Sidewalk

This project installed a new five-foot-wide concrete sidewalk along Panhandle Road from McDonough Road (State Route 920) to Tara Road. Also installed were the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps, concrete curbs, gutters, new roadway signage, pavement markings, and improvements to storm drains.

Clayton County follows the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines to ensure that constructed sidewalks are to a set of standards that provides accessibility for the disabled, including the visually impaired, anyone in a wheelchair, or using crutches.
